Sherry Leigh Williams (Métis) is a writer, visual artist, and musician based on Salt Spring Island, BC, with ancestral ties to the Red River homeland in Manitoba and Papaschase Cree territory in Treaty 6, Alberta and maintains kinship ties to Coast Salish communities. She makes her home on the unceded territories of Hul’q’umi’num and SENĆOŦEN-speaking Coast Salish peoples. Her work including painting, beadwork and hand-crafted drums created in the Métis floral tradition honours the resilience and enduring spirit of the Métis people.  All My Relations.
