On a recent trip to Saskatchewan I visited the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery where curator Jennifer McRorie showed me the Wakšúpi: Historic Lakota Beadwork. This community Art Gallery is a hub that connects people with the arts, a critical part of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit culture and history.
